About Us
Howdy, y'all! I'm so happy you're here! I fell in love with the wedding industry while planning my own wedding. After having a wonderful experience with my event staff, I decided that I wanted to step into the wedding business myself. I began assisting with a wonderful full-service planning business in St. Louis, but noticed a need for a more day-of coordination service. I reside in Illinois, and am from Springfield, IL, so I decided to make offerings for central/southern Illinois, as well as the St. Louis, MO area!
A couple of fun facts about me! I love all things Disney, and got married in Walt Disney World! My husband and I go almost every year. It is truly our happy, safe, place.

I have a master's degree in cyber defense, and love anything that has to do with learning why things are done a certain way! I love logistics and business.

DBH originated from the brain of former Type-A, detail oriented bride. Imagine someone as detail-obsessed as you that will come in and set up basic decor, wrangle your wedding party, coordinate your set-list with your DJ, and all the other odds and ends of your special day. Those details and moments that may seem small? Consider them handled by the DBH team so you can live in the moment and soak in the magic of your special day!

Ever wonder how partners react to each other when they see each other for the first time on their special day? We promise we noticed, and likely captured that moment for you so it can be remembered. Each small detail is important as it is a small piece of the puzzle that our couples will build as they navigate life together!

Need something DBH doesn't currently offer? ASK ANYWAY! We believe in tailoring our approach to each couple, so nothing is off the table. We will be honest, of course, and try or best to meet your needs. We promise to never take on something we aren't able to do, but are so willing to make tweaks and additions to our current services as needed. That's what makes us so magical!
